*Updated as promised in game thread*

So as we've not run any interviews during the course of the last few seasons we thought it might be worth putting up a topic and linking to all the ones that have been run on the website from September 2009 through to August 2023, albeit with a colossal gap between the end of 2017/2018 and now...

So without further ado, from the most recent at the top, to the oldest at the bottom...

No13 still saddens me
I understand what you mean about this one, and i'm really glad we've kept all of these now, if only to have the backup and confirm the memories.

Aside from the Matzka one, some of my other favourites are...

#2 - Finnerty signs for the Devils - Definitely happened, no chance of any shenanigans
Inferno: "So you never made those remarks?"

Ryan: "Certainly not. I love the Cardiff Bay Arena, and I've already pointed out how much I love the fans. In fact it's probably my favourite venue in the world."

Inferno: "So it is true Dave Simms made it all up?"

Ryan: "Who?

#83 - Piggott speaks again after 7 years - Both Q&As we did with him were great and it was really interesting to get his views on things:
The-Inferno - What has been the most surprising change for you the past few seasons, both within the club and within the wider league?

Luke Piggott - Surprising for the wider league - I would say the u23 rule. I wasn't expecting that rule change and it was quite a shock, it kind of put my career in instant limbo as I wasn't sure how the club would approach it.

Surprising within the club - this is tough to say as a lot of changes needed to be made from when the new ownership took over so I was expecting a lot of change. I didn't have the answer on how to turn it around but thankfully Lordo, Todd, the Calgary 4 and Franny did.

#14 - Dave Simms genuinely speaks to us - We give him some grief (rightfully so for some things) but he didn't shy away from answering any of our questions to him!
TI - The 20/20 cup was originally said to be a new competition happening preseason, each season... Are there plans to reintroduce the competition next season, or after the way some teams and coaches treated it, are we better sticking with the current system?

DS - The 20-20 is a great idea and it's a huge pity that it wasn't kept on. It should come back as a league event. It should be played on the Saturday of the bank holiday so teams can still play home games on either the Sunday or the Monday. For it to work though all teams have to commit to starting the season at the start of the season. Again, if you had that boss who had the power then there is more chance of that happening. The 20-20 was a missed opportunity.

#84 - Bowns final interview with us - It was always great to get bowns input, and the final interview we ever ran with a current player was no different:
The-Inferno - Firstly, welcome back Ben! It's been almost two years since we last spoke and it's fair to say the club has gone from strength to strength!

Ben Bowns - Thanks for sending me some questions again, I actually quite enjoy these interviews you guys send, there’s usually some good questions compared to what we’re used to! The club has took massive strides forwards over my 4 years here. It was set up as the best club in just it’s first year anyway so after 4 years it now completely blows every other EIHL club out of the water in terms of set up, professionalism and the way it looks after it’s players.
