would he be tweeting that if they'd have won? Sad if true though. Why people have to get pi$$ed when you've got a game of hockey right in front of your eyes, is beyond me.
I very much doubt he would have. It will be a shame if this is true.
Quite a few people tweeting about it/him on Twitter and security removing him, there's a photo/video of the bloke in question....drunk before the game started and that was from a Devils fan.

Awesome result tonight which keeps the Steelers at arms length. I'd have been happy with 2 points this weekend but now would be disappointed if we don't get the four. Steelers run in certainly looks easier than ours but it's still in our control :)

I find it hard enough following the puck when I'm sober!

That would be correct on twitter a drunk devil's fan was standing on the railings at the Steelers bench enticing the devil's fans to up the noise. Steelers fans were not impressed. Security removed him initially and he returned, stood on the railings by devil's fans and did the same. Security moved him again and as he was escorted out. A scuffle ensued on the stand with some devil's and steelers fans. Who started scuffle I cannot say, just saw it after it started

I read on twitter that a young Cardiff fan had been hit by a Steelers fan. Could that have started something? Here's the tweet, and he is a Blaze fan.

So, social media talk of a Sheffield fan hitting a young Cardiff fan tonight.
Wonder if certain Steelers will call that "classless" too.

After the confrontational grief my girlfriend and I took at the end of last season when they pipped us to the league im not at all suprised.

Anyway lets not focus on that nonsense we finally won up there!
Do you bring hendo in tonight? I would

Yes, and send him after Fitz early. Fitz is recovering from a broken hand and would be stupid to fight. They all hide behind him and if he had to turn Hendo down I think it would have an effect on the Steelers.

Surely it's an absolute no-brainer to play Trevor tonight. Steelers will come right back at us tonight with agression. We know from previous visits here that Thompson will get his players to try everything to draw Devils' penalties.

Let's hope our guys play a really disciplined game....and stop those first minute and last minute goals which the Steelers are very good at!

Yes I would play Trevor no doubt, and although I love Cully I think he will have to sit. Can't change the forwards after yesterday. Expecting a much more gritty physical game tonight.

Paul Wheeler is not a Blaze fan. He used to be but that wouldn't toe the Blaze party line so fell out with them , he also has a running battle Dave Simms/ Sheffield.

As for the Devils fan pictured, I don't know what happened but if he was thrown out then I think he needs a quiet word in his ear !!

Still if there is any truth in it I'd view an assault as more serious than some drunken knob making a fool of himself. No place in sport for either mind.

If we have another idiot like the guy who tried to attack Olson a few seasons ago i hope the club

come down hard on him.

We dont want to take him into the new arena.

I agree entirely with the plan above.

Send Hendo out to entice Fitzy to either fight or turn him down, every chance of winning the fight, or if Fitzy turns him down, then Steelers will realise he's not on his game.

Maybe some retribution against Desbiens tonight too after the cheap shots thrown at Batchy during the Fitzy fight?

Can see Josh maybe going for him.

Either way, it's gonna be one LOUD night at the BBT.

LETS GO DEVILS.

I take responsibility for my actions yesterday ! I was a little drunk ! and behaved like an utter tool ! I celebrated behind the bench! nothing was aimed directly at any players or fans , I have been to many away games and home games I can assure you I have never acted in that way before and nore will I again! I apologise to all fans at the game for the embarrassment I have caused

This is hockey game not a boxing match

The best revenge is to win

We should play hard and physically defend as necessary but to set out with intent to earn penalty minutes, risk possible injury and, depending on how it works out, game or match suspension(s) is just plain lunatic at this stage of the season

Hendo can play good hard hockey that should be all we want and need

To be honest I can't see any trouble unless the Steelers go looking for it and I don't think they will unless the game is lost. Thompson is terrified of our powerplay after all.

We aren't that sort of team, which is surprising as we are far out in front as league leaders for fights. But we all thought and expected retribution in almost every game against Farmer, Noble, Lawrence (for two seasons), Lloyd (forever) and quite a few others but it never seems to happen. The only one I can recall is Valabik for beating on Doucet and Lawrence, but that was more an in game thing with Hendrikx than a previous thing. The team seem to leave most things on the ice in the current game.
