Steelers release Colt King

Would have liked to have seen him in a devils shirt. But more than happy for him to head across the water and spread the word about how badly treated he was at the Steelers.

Good Luck to Colt back in North America. Really disappointed that we will not enjoy the chance to see him play in the UK next season......but can anyone blame him? Would hate to think his bad experiences at the Steelers disuaded him from staying in the UK. Am sure he would have received a lot of interet from other Elite League teams.

As for Steeltalk......someone always has to be a scapegoat when things go wrong. King has gone fronm hero to zero....without anyone hearing what he has to say.
Perhaps if the Steelers' coach had left their pre-Christmas winning formula well alone instead of benching/introducing new players, the story might have been so different.
