Yet again well done Dan and as for you Mr Ragan I hope the few grand you ripped these guys off for was worth it.
Can't believe he's got the audacity to put himself up for chairman of the DCF after all the financial revelations.
I will be disgusted if they vote him on. Nobody would back DCF surely if there was any shrewd if doubt PR is involved. I hear one of his employees is trying to get on too.Wonder why?

Easy, he's got rid of the team that needed to be funded but wants to keep his greedy little paws on what he sees to be the cash cow, although it should be a non profit org so can't see where the cash will come from unless he is going to install ninja car park attendants on match nights
As Martin Lewis would say the "key" word here is Administration costs?

They voted to stick with Ragan, some people ...........
So glad they ain't my parents. Typical response ' I don't care who is in charge, as long as my child is in the team each week that's all I'm worried about '
Also his PA was voted in by post but nobody but them saw the numbers and still nobody questioned him.
One man was escorted out of the building by Police after Ragan asked him to leave and he refused.

Says it all for me, the guy has a recent history of untruths and nobody questions. They should be ashamed they have allowed themselves to be bullied by him instead of showing some backbone

What are the DCF's revenue streams other than parents fees?

I want to make sure not a penny I pay goes to Ragan.
I don't ever recall the juniors ever benefitting from 50/50 everything from match fees to away travel were paid for by each individual parent and some times if you were travelling to Peterborough as an example and you were short benched you might be paying upwards of £40 travel to play.
Even tournaments the parents & kids would fundraise or seek outside sponsors to subsidise the cost.
It just shows the commitment of the parents, players and coaches to the sport.

When I was doing the 50/50 half of the monies went to the juniors I have a photo of me somewhere presenting dope with a cheque for over £500

I'm sure 50/50 tickets were sold last year on the basis that 25% went to DCF anf 25% towards the senior team? Like Mark says, doesn't mean that actually happened with Ragan in charge but with CDRA administrating it I would trust them to make sure the money got to the right place.

Its a really bad call by the DCF parents to keep Ragan on board and also vote his employee on the board so he effectively has 2 votes. I'm amazed people still trust him and I personally wish the man would bugger off from anything to do with the Devils and find a rock to crawl back under. I can't support anything he is involved with.

As the person who managed the 50/50 tickets income for CDRA, I can confirm that 25% went to the team and the other 25% to DCF.

However, each time a request was made for funds raised through 50/50 ticket sales, by either party, the CDRA considered ithe request and asked for the appropriate receipts before issuing any payments.

Going forward we will be working with the new ownership to see how 50/50 ticket funds will be distributed as of 14/15 season. One thing is for sure only smiley 50/50 ticket sellers will continue in the BBT wearing those renowned red bibs! :D

I'm beginning to realise that Mark, all the time we were fund raising it looks as if the juniors weren't getting it

Back to LaCosta, has he been paid by CDRA or will he accept following fund raising events?
It will be a mix of funds we raised throughout 13/14 season plus what we raise through the events we are organising during the off season.

Our aim is to raise sufficient money to pay all of the players affected.

As previously mentioned the future of 50/50 ticket sales going forward hasn't been discussed or agreed with the new owners to date. We are however, hoping to have further information to share with everyone over the coming weeks.
