Radio Cabs, Dragon Taxis
I'll just take the cab and run off without paying :D
That's what I feels like PR has been doing to us. Why shouldn't we? That's right we aren't a bunch of stealing, deceitful kenneths!

What would happen if we all were able to get our money back from Future Financials? Would that have any effect?

No chance of cancelling DD either after speaking to FF last week!
Did they explain why? It would be interesting to hear their reaction if you suggested getting a lawyer to look at the contract.

You could phone Ragan's legal team, they may be busy for a few weeks but will be looking for new customers come invoice time

That after signing the DD mandate I/we had committed to pay the full amount and the Club are the only ones who could cancel. Dont know if this is legally binding or not

Were you told it was a new deal, with a new company rather than just a 'change to the direct debit form' that it was publicised as such?

The FCA are apparently looking at the deal. Both from FF actually being able to do it and the terms of the contract.

Fingers crossed it gets voided and both Ragan & FF get fined at least for screwing over the fans.

It was the DD mandate that said we are liable for all payments to FF. Copy of the mandate is on this link

How dull am I for getting my ST!!!!! No chance of cancelling DD either after speaking to FF last week! Pay their wages!!!!!!
They can not stop you cancelling your DD mandate. You may or may not still be liable for the debt to them and that is when it could get very messy.

Think it could be in your best interest to seek advice from a specialist. People could take it on collectively to split any costs involved to establish your rights.
Citizens Advice could also be an avenue to explore.

Just emailed the financial ombudsman to see what they say. Will keep you posted

Why the heck haven't the EIHL stepped in to see what's going on? or are they so far up each others backsides they don't want to rock the boat.
Puts the league in very poor light and such a shame for you the fans. To be honest I don't think Regan gives a crap what you lot think he's just going to do what he wants anyway. Vote with your feet and stay away. Pity there's not a 'just giving' page to help out those not paid but hey what you people bail Regan out.

What a disgraceful way to treat as man that's travelled thousands of miles to play in a foreign country, given his all and put his body on the line for the team to his own detriment and played ball for months when he could have screamed from the rooftop (and who could blame him). Shame on you Mr Ragan - time to go I think!! The devils don't need the likes of you dragging our name through the mud. No wonder there's no signing news

This statement is a damning endictment with far reaching consequences for the Club's reputation and future. A massive nail in the coffin. Very difficult to see a way back from this latest crisis.

Fans and former players alienated, income stream damaged through falling ST sales. Administration or liquidation Take your pick.

The once proud club most of us loved as the Cardiff Devils is long dead. Or rather has been destroyed irrepairably.

Can't see the league stepping in, as it run by the owners and every club in this league have done the same

Haven't seen this particular DD mandate but there is a DD guarantee that covers all transactions on behalf of the customer. There are many safeguards put into these agreements for this purpose, worth checking out the legalities and that you were 100% aware of what you were signing

Except some rumours surrounding Hull, name me one other club that has acted in any way similar to Ragan? Braehead, Fife, Edinburgh, Sheffield, Belfast, Nottingham, Coventry, Dundee - not one rumour of unpaid players.
