Pecker would be my first guess too.

If he is being announced tomorrow and playing Saturday then Pecker would have to be hot favourite. I can't see how we could get anyone else in that quickly, even an NHLer on a short contract.

Is the D man released by Clan still in the country, defence it's looking shaky G could have jumped in when he became available?

Are there any Brits available atm?

Sounds like could be an NHLer, hence the quick signing due to not needing a visa for a maximum 3 month stay. Could be a tough guy after Deeds has failed to deliver?

Nice try at over hyping JB.

Lets all calm down a little shall we? We know that Cardiff can't afford NHL players (and Coventry can't get them visas ;) )

No player deserves to be labelled as saving a season this early in a campaign. Let's just be grateful there may be a new Devil in South Wales and he might be able to help do a job for us.

At last Deeds has persuaded Stamkos to change Tampa Bay for Cardiff Bay!!
Yeah could be Stamkos haha  sounds like it will actually be a player now and not just a John Lawless appearance. I stand corrected!

Would have thought G would have wanted to strengthen Devils' defence and add
some genuine toughness too. Mike Hoffman would be a great addition - a proven player in this league and great in any situation....would be v suprised if he is joining the Devils. Doubt its an NHL lockout player - only here for a few months and insurance astronomical!
