Makes last nights result even more disappointing but that's 3 out of 4 points so far and we stopped the Clan from getting anything from that game.

We'll played tonight guys now let's finish off with another 2 points tomorrow

Might have been a genius tactical decision. Clan so hyped about revenge on Mychan that if we didn't play him, might throw them off their game plan.
Highly doubt we'd do that though!
Wasn't there tonight but a great result and sounds a great performance. Two points tomorrow and it will be successful weekend. Those in Scotland, enjoy tonight!

Those Clan guys sure showed us. Well done to Ben Bowns who now has equalled the Devils EIHL record for shut outs in a season with 7

As a total side convo... Looking at the league table tonight and see that Hull are five games down on everyone else. Any idea why? Also great to see Cardiff jump into 3rd. Need to avoid that 4th v 5th playoff battle.

60 minutes of complete domination. No other way to describe it. Our passing was on the tape, our forecheck worked horrendously hard and Bowns did well when called upon.

Martin threw himself around all night and was getting involved left right and center, offer that man a huge salary next year and jam a letter on his chest. Sublime.

Clarkson clearly had a screaming at after the Caps game and he was great tonight as well, another goal for the big man and he was one of the key guys on the forecheck.

Our D overall were spectacular, we forced Clan to take shots from low percentage scoring areas, let Bowns see every shot and won the puck battles before committing to the body and made a good pass on it instead of dumping.

Clan didn't look like league leaders. They weren't physical, they didn't threaten us and it didn't look like Finnerty made any change to their game plan even after we tore them to pieces in the first.

Crowd were fantastic. Team were fantastic. Happy hockey days.

Wow as Sean said we dominated that match all night and sucked the life out of the Clan and we didn't let them play all night.

As a team we played tough and was great to see Marty throwing it about and sticking up for himself when he was getting slashed off the play and perfect that he scored right as they were trying to target him.

Hudson & Hotham coveted every inch on that pad tonight and they must be exhausted with the effort they put in.Clarkson was back to his best & like the Sheffield game dominated physically and was disciplined to not to dumb pens plus the finish for his goal was sweet.

Bowns was solid as a rock and although the D protected him perfectly he didn't look like getting beaten all night.Funny how in a season where he's playing his first in our conference and already with 7 shut outs under his belt he's still got his critics. The guy is 23 and I don't recall Murphy being as good at that age and look what he's achieved.

Great coaching and a gutsy call by Lordo to send CJ & Piggsie out with just over a minute to go just before it all kicked off. Protecting a shut out I was surprised and when you saw Smith & Fitzgerald out you knew what was coming.Fair play to CJ he stood his ground and it could have got really nasty and players could have gotten hurt. Yet again Batchy needs no second invitation and takes on yet another tough guy and had the win in a pretty quick fight. No doubt at all that he's know the toughest Brit in the league.

Our fans were class tonight. Really lifted the boys and never stopping getting behind the team all night and even wound Finner up pretty good too.

I thought we were out of it but after that we are still in with a chance.

Your team was far better than ours tonite. Not sure if we have played any worse however full marks to the Devils. One loss hurts but not devastating.
