He is an incredible talent, when watching a game he doesn't seem to do much and hardly see him, yet he finds space, his team mates in space, and drives to the net well for such a small guy. And he is a scoring machine.

Yes, let me drop the 'r', he dives well too! :DWD

Barring the diving if there's another Roy out there could we snap him up?

Splashing the cash doesn't win championships alone. Three quarters into the season the Steelers went on an awful run. Was it six in a row they lost? Even big paid stars need picking up from that and getting them going again must of been difficult.
Maybe G deserves just a little bit of praise? ;)

Can someone explain the protocol for signing players in the EIHL? Do players who played this year belong to their team until a certain date or are all unsigned players free agents, so to speak?

Most players will be contracted until the week after the Playoff Finals, after which they become free agents. Some players will be on multi-year deals though.
