Ben has played in both preseason games for the Admirals. In the 7-4 loss against Atlanta he had 1 shot and was -1 (http://www.echl.com/game-summary?game_id=14796) and in the 7-2 victory over Greenville he was +1 and had 1 shot (http://www.echl.com/game-summary?game_id=14798)

Ben got an assist on the Admirals 4th goal but has a long way to go to catch up a former Devils brother who features in the Admirals Hall of Fame. A former Devil is also in their Hall of Fame

Just Googled this and I have learnt something today!

The former Devil in their Hall of Fame I always thought was underrated when he was here. The brother of the other player mentioned could never be overrated.

Norfolk made their first cut this week with five players arriving from the AHL Bakersfield Condors. Ben was not amongst the five released to make way for the incomers so is hanging on in there. The first league game is Friday so we will see if he is part of that shortly.

It appears that Ben has been cut and not offered a place on the Admirals roster. It was always going to be a hard task for Ben now that pl;ayers are being assigned down the heirachuy - Edmonton Oilers - Bakersfield Condors - Norfolk Admirals
