What's everybody's gut feeling about Asselin then? If he had signed a while ago surely we would have announced him by now. I get the feeling his return is still 50/50
no real EIHL news there, but look at that guys stats in the KHL last year and somehow he has ended up in one of Europe's worst leagues this year in France?!
I think by high end forward you'd be referring to someone who can do both... A player who is more than capable of looking after the team but that could put up say 20pts! There are players out there who 'could' live up to that role:
An experienced player like Bootland: http://www.eliteprospects.com/player.php?player=10999
Or maybe someone younger like #15 Perrier: http://www.eliteprospects.com/player.php?player=37929
There are a number of un-signed players out there with similar resumes, I'd like to see someone in this mould!
Bootland is a complete liability on the ice. Screw comes loose at times. Like you said though plenty of young guns out there but it seems we aren't going the tough guy root this season. Time will tell I guess.
I've been a fan of this guy for years and he'd be a great addition to ours or anybody else's squad and won't back down from anybody. Depends on £££ I guess. Lots of Euro experience and some great point production this side of the pond.
Just wondering but can we sign Brad Watchorn on a Two Way Contract with him being British or would that impact on our Roster?? Think he could play a role in certain games. Not saying he is the toughest but certainly think he would be a willing candidate!
Would be very disappointed to not see an aggresive entertainer come in. Not always fighting but hits really get the crowd going and draw that attention anyhow. I think we have enough high end scoring. Dont want euro hockey
