Vipers reporting Thornton

#41
No disrespect to Thornton, but he is now coming to the end of his playing career.

As we have seen in the past, players who had pace and flair - once that starts to go, then their play changes. Frustration comes into their game as they are not able to deal with matters as effectively as they once did.

Doug McEwen, my personal all time favourite Devil, never got into trouble until his latter career at Hull and P'boro.

Just because Thornton's record is good, does NOT mean he didn't deliberately hit Payette over the head / neck with his stick.

Thornton's actions are FAR WORSE than Brad's slash to the back of the leg and the non existent 'sucker punch'.

His punishment needs to be FAR HIGHER than Brad's.

Lost it last season against Coventry after Calder (I think) slashed Curtis Cruickshank, damaged his hand/wrist and only played a part in two games for the rest of the season.
