Changes to the junior games this Sunday. The U14's game has been awarded to them as Chelmsford aren't traveling. Meaning that the U14's play Bracknell next weekend twice (away Sat, home on Sunday), looking to win the league.

The U12's now fill the 4.15pm slot at home to Guildford. Entry free to all.

Fair play wes did well and toke all the hicks jokes well!
Was great to see almost 45 local rec players from the dcf programmes
playing they game they love in front off a good crowd. Great advert
for Cardiff community ice hockey. The demons extra experience was the
only difference with great spirit shown by both teams..

Yup it was. As it was only our first game we were a bit all over the shop with positioning etc & were missing a few D men who's Registration hadn't gone through!! Plus the Demons had their strongest team out. Not taking anything away from them though as they are a well drilled/talented team!

I plan for the score to be the other way around in the rematch! ;)

Please come and support two junior teams looking to win league titles this weekend.

Cardiff Devils U16's play hom at 4.30pm on Sat against Peterborough, needing just one point to tie up the "B" title and gain promotion back to the "A" league for next season.

On Sunday the U14's play home at 6.30pm against Bracknell. First they play in Bracknell on Saturday making it a double match up. The Devils currently need two points to win the "A" league championship.

Entry is free to all!!!

The U12's are playing today at 4.30pm remember.

The U14's are playing at 6.30pm and require 1 point to win the league. After losing yesterday to Bracknell this will be a tough task, and they could really use all the support possible. Please come down and cheer the team on if you are free tonight.

Cardiff Ice Hounds host Medway Madness on the 15th May at 4:30pm. Ice Hounds are sitting second in the Southern Conference and travel to Slough this weekend, to play the Scorpions. The Scorpions are struggling this season, having conceded 100 goals in only seven games. So despite taking a bit of a mix match team, the Hounds are hoping to work on their goal difference stats.

Cardiff Ice Hounds v Medway Madness - Coming UpThe Hounds are awaiting confirmation of last weekend’s results for the Southern Conference, but there should be little difference to the Conference Table, leaving the Cardiff Ice Hounds hot on the title race, sitting in second place just behind Bracknell Blizzards, having played two games less than the leaders.

Despite currently sitting two from the bottom spot, Medway’s recent results suggest that if the Madness travel well this weekend, the match may be closer than the Hounds would wish. The Hounds will certainly be hoping that their away form goes to book and the result goes their way, as they face another two (consecutive) weekends of late and tough away fixtures.

In their last visit to the Cardiff Bay Ice Arena, the Cardiff Eagles convincingly owned the Madness, beating them 8-0.
The Hounds v Medway match faces off at 4:30pm, this Saturday.

The team contains the very best players from the Army, Navy and RAF, most of whom have some experience at Elite, BNL, EPL or ENL. Face off is 4.30pm and entry is free.

This Saturday (5th June 2010) the Cardiff Ice Hounds continue their Southern Conference campaign against the Army Air Corps Ice Hawks, at the Cardiff Bay Ice Arena.
The Hounds played the Ica Hawks on Saturday just gone, down in Basingstoke and caused an upset, beating the strong third placed outfit 7-11. Going into the match, the Hounds were on equal point with the first placed Bracknell Blizzards and have a game in hand on them.
Bracknell were also in action on the weekend, playing fourth placed Guildford Smoke, who choked to Bracknell 2-4.
So the Hounds fixture against the Ice Hawks, is the start of the last four games of the regular season, three of which are 'top four' teams. It's going to be a hard slog and the Army Air Corps will no doubt be keen to settle the score.
Come down and support your local Rec Hockey team. Face off is 4:30pm. Entry is free.

Is this the only Rec game at the 'tent' this weekend?
