It was run under EIHL rules (well bar the icing thing) so if it follows previous years then any Match Penalties will be reviewed.

Surely to be fair both teams have to be able to be sanctioned by their review process??

Not looking too good on the suspension front

Cardiff Devils forward Andrew Conboy received a match penalty for headbutting in his side's match with Esbjerg on Saturday 31st August 2013.

The penalty carries an a five-match suspension as per Elite League tariffs and the discipline review will take place this week.

Conboy received the penalty in the second period (24:22).

As is mandatory this penalty will now be reviewed and the findings will be presented this week.
