I believe that although the signing deadline is 31st January, you don't have to complete all the paperwork (such as visa, maybe ITC Card) until Feb 14th.

well i'm well and truly stumped, i cant work out weather the guy is currently playing or has been dormant so far this year or anything :lol:


Someone must have more clues out there

Just a guess, but how about... http://www.hockeydb.com/ihdb/stats/pdis ... ?pid=31019 ?! 1 NHL game and 4 full AHL seasons. Is a centre on hockeydb, but that doesn't always count for much. Maybe he was pointed in this direction by a certain somebody with the same surname?! Apparently the Austrian import rules have been tightened as well? Looks frighteningly good...

Edit: Looking around, I'm thinking it's less and less likely by the minute. And having just listened to the audio it sounds like the guy is coming in from America. Meh, someone must have some clues!

Could it be an Eastern European or Scandanavian playing back in Europe after a spell in North America? He's got to be affordable but have tidy stats - must be difficult to get that kind of calibre mid-season. Just hope we don't sign someone who has just returned from injury...or has been ditched by previous team for under-performing -what a waste. I'm excited but nervous now. :?
