10/11 Rumours thread - Entirely truthful 10% of the time...

So, as requested, this if the official rumours thread!

After last seasons debacle, I have a few requests for people who want to post here...

1) If people don't like your rumour, don't take it personally, i'm refusing to delete accounts this time around if people laugh at a rumour you post.

2) If the signing/event has already happened or is definitely going to happen, it's not a rumour!

3) Until something is confirmed in writing, it's a rumour. I don't care if your best friends aunties cousin twice removed knows a player...

So, with those rules and regulations in place, here's some of the nonsense i've heard this weekend...

Capitals applied to the EPL, but application refused...
Corey Neilson sacked in the concourse of the NIC during the final :roll:

Phil Osaer to the Steelers
Matt Towe to the Steelers
Jerramie Domish to the Steelers
Bruce Richardson to Vipers
Jason Hewitt to Vipers

That should be enough to set the ball rolling...

rumour from playoffs is that Dave Matsos has signed one former Devils player and a current Devils Player who is still under contract.

Initial thoughts were Phil Osaer and Ryan Finnerty.

But who knows its rumour time again.

Ok here are mine:

Myers is not coming back to UK - he is staying in the states
Matt Towe signed for Steelers
Brad signing for steelers (also heard he is retiring!)
Ben Davies leaving due to lack of ice time (not sure where yet)
Jade Galbraith to steelers

Not much new there except for Myers not coming and Ben leaving.

According to these rumours Steelers budget to be that of an NHL team.

OOps sorry Just looked back at my original post, I meant Ben Davies for NCAA scholarship not Ben Smith! If not a NCAA scholarship put him on a two way contract with an EPL team where he is guaranteed more icetime!

It does appear the Wagecap has been scrapped. In which case expect Bob to do his usual trick of spend as much money as possible in the hope it brings the fans back.
Which could give the Brad to Steelers rumours a lot more credibility. I dread to think how much he has been offered to move to them.

Ben Davies almost certainly to the EPL unless he gets an offer from N. America.
