New CEO?

Thread starter #3
Its a video that was added today with Terry Phillips interviewing some guy called Paul Ragan/Ragon (its spelled differently in the title and in the video so I don't know which it is  ) who's apparently our new Chief executive officer.

He talks about his focal point being on the new rink and continuing with the work in the community etc.

Think someone might get in trouble for posting that video on youtube before it was supposed to...... :?

Says he is a successful businessman involved with 18 companies. Says Shannon will be focusing on running the hockey side and he will be concentrating on the new rink and the marketing side.

Seems a little odd unveiling a new cheif exec in this manner. You think Terry Phillips would have wanted the scoop on this for IC Wales. Not even a mention on the main website.

Anyway just for the record Paul Ragan is a succesful investment fund manager based in Cardiff.
Sold his insurance company in a multi million pound deal. Invests in promising up and coming companies, also gives generously to charity and has appeared on Secret Millionaire.

Also remember seeing a programme on BBC Wales regarding a group of business men who got together under the name of "Collateral thinking" to help out fledgling entrepreneurs. Paul was one of these as well as Bill Mayne of MSS group and Matt.
If this is correct he seems to be a good guy to have onboard.

Looks like he is on tonight

"Business tycoon Paul Ragan goes undercover in Derby, where he finds out how a 12-year-old girl has sacrificed much of her childhood to look after her ill mother, and meets a woman working tirelessly to provide trips for those with debilitating conditions. He also hears how the parents of a boy with a rare cancer are struggling to raise funds for their son's treatment. The experience prompts Paul to question his own family life, and he finds the decision of who to give his money to an emotional one"

Confirmed he is on Channel 4 tonight at 9pm.

I wonder whether this is why it wasn't to be announced until tomorrow?

Apparently the big announcement was supposed to be tomorrow, whoever uploaded the video early has royally screwed up.

Still, interesting twist and at least we seem to have managed to pick up another successful owner :E

Ooops

They should realise that people (well me especially) spend way to much time on YouTube and are likely to find these things.
