Hey hey,

We'll be running Match Night Live! for this game from the usual location of http://www.the-inferno.co.uk/mnl

OJ will be hosting this game and as always can be reached before/during the game at matchnightlive@gmail.com

Devils will only be missing Symonds i'd have thought, depending on what Davies decides to do with the rest of the season I guess he may or may not feature in the line up...

Stars could be missing Latulippe and Maclean who might still be suffering from the concussion that prevented them from playing up in Dundee, Kris Phillips was also missing for them and there's nothing on their website to say any of them are back yet...

This will be the 5th game of the season between the two sides with the Devils now leading 3-1 after the latest game up in Dundee saw us run out 1-6 winners \o/

As mentioned on the game preview linked underneath, this could either be a game where the Devils are looking to get back on track after the NIC curse strikes again, or we'll be looking to pick up our 20th straight victory, hopefully it's the latter :D

The game preview can be found either on the frontpage of the website - http://www.the-inferno.co.uk

Or if you're feeling particularly lazy by clicking this link - http://www.the-inferno.co.uk/news/match-preview-devils-vs-stars-9th-jan/

How the players approach this game tonight is important. I'm sure G is drumming the fact into them that to take our foot off the gas and drop points tonight would undo all of last nights hard work. Professional attitude needed!!

Devils only came out for the first period and to be honest the only needed too!! That's the worst I've seen Stars play against us at the tent this season!! Did the job in 1st and switched to auto pilot in 2nd gear!! Well done boys!!

Did the job well tonight. We even took our foot of the gas in the 3rd and gave both Symonds and Myers so Valuable ice time.

Well done Finnerty on a captains game. I have to say though, Voth this weekend has been very good. More of the same please Brad.

20 games now. Quite amazing. Huge game on Wednesday now. Lets try and make it 21.

Apologies for viewers on MNL, I was bored by the end of the first. Just couldn't get into the game then the Devils cruised for the majority of the game.

Finnerty deserved that MOM, he was everywhere tonight and 2 nice goals, Vother came alive once again and good to see our second line scoring more.

How many goals for Pelle by the end of the year? He just keeps finding the net!

Great game tonight, 20 on the bounce can't be sniffed at. Stars played well for the best part considering how short benched they were. Special kudos to Chris Zarb for apologising to Tylor after accidentally high sticking him in the first period.

Good result for the Vipers too, impressive 5 out of 5 possible points for Prpich.
