Depends on what course he is taking up. Hartwick and Jarvis were both on 2 year courses where as Romfo was on a one year course.

Smith was probably the best d-man we have had up here, i dont think he ever made a mistake. takes care of his end very well and picks his times to attack well. good luck mark

When the original post was made the press release read 'Captain Mark Smith'

they must have got confused with all the Marks :lol:

Admittedly I’ve not seen too much of Smith but have certainly heard his name branded about the league and that fact that DC had tried to take him to Belfast shows what high regard he has for him.

From the read ups its clear he is a reliable defenseman who will contribute to the points tally as and when. Sounds like a really solid signing.

Looking at out defence now, I think we need to sign a highly rated defence man to consolidate our blue line.
