So if both are classed as EU (UK passport is classed as a EU passport)then that leaves 12

Should be 11 and not 12 as advanced maths tells me 13-2 is 11 :D

whilst the UK is indeed in Europe the fact that the rules distinguish between UK and EU makes me think an import who has qualified for a UK passport isnt actually deemed a EU passport holder.

Isnt it more to do with not restricting EU nationals ability to work in UK ?

I may be wrong but thats how I read it

That's how I read it too but being the EIHL it is confusing. Whatever way Sheffield read it is how it'll be.

An import who is a dual-national /qualified for a British Passport would count as one of the two EU players as they wouldn't require a passport.

Looks a good signing for Sheffield.
Will be interesting to see how he got a work permit having not played 75% of last season's games.

Will be amazed if Josh Unice is not signed by one of the remaining EIHL teams without a netminder. One of the best young goalies seen in this league. Get the feeling he was not happy about the way his departure from Steelers was handled.

Matty Davies and Davy Phillips sign for Manchester Storm.

Phill Hill signs for Telford in the EPL.
