Also, it is probably quite meaningless - he is a hockey player looking for a team, so he will get as much ice time as he can to keep himself match ready.

It looks like Symonds has joined the Devils because he has pretty much confirmed as much on his facebook update. He seems to be playing this weekend.

Great news welcome back Alex, another local lad back in the fray, thats what we all want to see, its looking mighty good on the local talent front. Glad to see you back Alex.

I'm loving the prospect that Alex could well return to the Devils, even on a 2-way with the ENL side. After a previous season or 2 in the EPL, surely he will be more than ready to step back up to duties in the senior Devils. Have to say, we could really do will some extra back-up on defence, especially with our reliance on Jarvo to push forward to create scoring chances.
The way some of the squad are misfiring right now, Alex's return would be even more important.
