Hi all!
Firstly can I just say if this is in the wrong area please move also if this kind of thing has been asked before I apologise.
A recent post about vocal newbies (no it wasn't me, I'm a girl) had me thinking and chuckling as I was recently sat next to a new comer who sounded as equally vocal.
Ive been a fan for about 3 years (well longer but attending games since 2013) and while there is a ton of stuff on NHL rules etc I struggle to find any about the EIHL league.
OK so I know/assume the rules are similar across the board but I still get stuck on things and could use help in finding where I can read up on or watch videos which might explain these things better. its frustrating as hell to be sat watching a game and not fully understand why play has stopped and face off is in certain areas. (for example)
I was fortunate to be sat behind a lovely group of people and a lady who when I struggled to answer a question posed by my step son turned and answered it for me explaining and making that part of the game easier to understand. for that I thank you, genuinely. (not sure if she is on here or would remember me though)
I understand most things now by the way but could do with somewhere to refer to so I can brush up my knowledge.
I would say be kind at this point but I'm not opposed to some good natured banter.
