What if...

Also, don't Belfast still have a chance of the Conference title if they beat Panthers twice?

One thing for sure is that the Conference system definitely makes things interesting and means that unless we nose dive and lose the next 3 games all our games to the end of the season are important.

Yeah, although they have to win their 3 remaining conference games and hope that us or Nottingham don't win more than 1 of theirs!

I don't think so.

If they won all 3 of their remaining conference games they would finish on 37 points.
They would therefore need Nottingham to lose both their other games against Sheffield and us. They would then also need us to lose both games against Shefffield, and Sheffield to lose both games against us.

Which is of course impossible.

If Belfast beat Nottingham twice and Coventry once they finish with 37pts...
It's possible for them to finish top if we share the games with Sheffield, if Nottingham beat us, if Sheffield beat Nottingham and if Coventry beat Sheffield! If that happened there would be 3 Teams on 37pts with 17 Regulation Wins - Belfast, Nottingham and Sheffield... We'd have 36pts with 16 RW... All hypothetical of course!
