voth's injury

Voth damaged a shoulder and was only able to play a few shifts at the start of the second period before getting changed and watching from the sidelines.

Todays WO article :
The Devils are hoping captain Brad Voth will be fit for Saturday’s trip to Basingstoke after damaging a shoulder in the 6-2 defeat at Manchester Phoenix.

It was an even match until Voth was forced out of the game after three shifts in the second period.

Voth was due back in training today and coach Adams said: “We are assessing Brad day-to-day.

“We are hopeful that Brad will be okay by the weekend.”

Huge loss for the weekend. I think we’ll really struggle against the Steelers without the leadership of Voth. This is where some of big imports need to show the leadership qualities they apparently have.

If everyone plays with the passion the likes of Franny have then we’ll have enough in our arsenal at home to beat the Steelers. We do what we usually do when Voth is out then it could be an embarrassing weekend for us.
