Can't believe this hasn't been posted already, but Tony Hand is to hang up his skates...

Tony Hand MBE is set to call time on his legendary Ice Hockey career.

The British superstar has racked up more than 4,250 points since his debut in 1981 and will bow out at the top of his game. The 47-year-old's career has spanned four decades for club and country and taken in a staggering 34 seasons.

But he is finally hanging up his skates to focus on his coaching role with Manchester Phoenix – a club he has been at the helm of since 2006
