Looks like Lehman has received his UK passport then. Is/was Shane Johnson from the Belfast Giants a UK passport holder suddenly as well?

Phil has thoroughly deserved to make the short list this season. Good to see Thommo recognising Hill’s performances this year.

I think Shane Johnson was in the process of getting his passport last year.

Great to see Phil Hill get shortlisted.

Great to see Phil in - he really deserves it after the performance this season.

Also, nice to see 4 Welsh players in the list :D

Isn't Aubry almost a British passport holder too? Now - that would be a goal tending pair - Lehman and Aubry.

Looks like it will be a tough group for us.

It is nice to see how British the team is. It is nice to do well, better to do well with British born players. :D

Although, I'm not going to complain if we have Lehman backstopping us. For everything that is said about him, he is one hell of a netminder.

Well done Phil, thoroughly deserved to be selected. He's really developed this year and is playing the game of his life. Good Luck in Poland.

oppps :p haha, will it be down to 2 or 3 Goalies once they have decided?
Three. If Thommo's got any sense Lyle will be the odd one out and Craze will be the reserve.

It's also a shame that Luke Boothroyd has asked to be excused because of his final exams, as he's better than the vast majority of the other D on that list.
