The word 'Legend' is often bandied around but in Phil’s case it’s spot on,
575 appearances for the City in the 70’s&80’s and a big Devils fan.
I had occasion to chat with ‘Joe’ at the bar at the back of block 6 (I’m in block 5) and he was always happy to recall his days at the City and latterly his thoughts on the Devils.
Sadly missed, RIP Joe.
