Pelle incident

Does anybody know what the incident was that stopped Pelle from scoring more points?

he picked up a ban for a check from behind which put a player in hospitol i think

I believe he hit another player which caused a significant injury, Gazza272 is the man to speak to though as I can't find the article at the moment.

I think it was the first, and only time anything big has happened during his career so far, if I can dig out the link i'll post it later.

Pelle checked a guy called Chad Hinz which unfortunatly broke Hinz vertabrae in his neck. Before this incident Pelle only collected 6 penalty minutes.

A freak accident for sure, and something i'm sure Pelle feels very sorry about, if you look at the youtube vids of Pelle he looks like very small and unable to do real damage.

Would much rather talk about Pelles knack of finding goals on the powerplay than this unfortunate incident.
