im with fried egg to have that as your first post is pot stiring in the extreme. One of the things I hate most is people having user names that have no relation to who they are so don't have any idea if that person has an agenda or as a new poster if that person has hid behind a new user name because they are to afraid to post under the account they are known for.

I also hate junothedog... remember that guy! :lol:

Public facts you would have to know where to dig up from and to what purpose i might ask, 2nd post in and already digging a long list of dirt, no why would a new poster to the forum do that !!!!!!

Exactly right. Some of us (me, anyway) had looked this up ages ago, it's on the Company's House Website. so it's not exactly a WikiLeaks exclusive, so I guess you're not Edward Snowdon! (BTW, if you're not an agendaist, post your name or ST number to prove your credentials.)

Point is. Who cares? Why is it relevant? Could we have guessed? Isn't this typical "local entrepreneur"?

It's stirring for the sake of it.

I don't know if this was the point of this thread, but was PRs fortune made by taking over companies, making them successful and selling them? Just a brilliant business mind I'd say, nothing dodgy. However if this thread isn't about him ignore me.

I think the point is that PR has a history of taking over failing businesses, stripping out assets, polishing the furniture and then selling them on.

He's a turd polisher, yes you can polish a turd as long as you sell it before they touch it.

Its not an unusual practice, but does take a certain personality to be good at it. Maybe the poster was an employee who was made unemployed for the benefit of gain and believes someone such as PR is not such a good asset to the future of the devils.

Why PR taken on the devils, well, new rink and a sprinkle of some cheap glitter could make the the sale of the devils a nice little earner in a yrs time, even better if he does manage a title or two.

Nothing wrong with that I hear you say, well if it works its to all our benefit, it defo will be if PR sells to a person who has both cash and an interest in Hockey.

The only issue is that if it does not go that way someone such as PR, who has little interest in Hockey, very little loyalty to the product, will at the point it becomes beyond his plans cease trading and devils existence will be no more.

I believe that is the point, PR previous proven record of walking away, no matter what the consequences.

Or to put it another way, this is a very similar history of directorships/liquidations/phoenixing as Bob Phillips had. Still happy with our owner?

Or to put it another way, this is a very similar history of directorships/liquidation/phoenixing as Richard Branson pre virgin making it big. Not condoning, just pointing out its business as usual with entrepreneurs. Keep buying or making companies till one makes it big, sell it and start again.

Like I said if it works, it's all good.

If it does not as Vincent Tan another leach has recently stated, he and I believe PR are no different will simply shut the doors and walk away.

What you want is a person committed to the product, one who's ultimate goal was to be successful with a company they had an interest in and then in many yrs time consider selling on. PR choose the Devils not for the love of the game, but an opportunity to make money and that was the sole purpose of the project.

The difference with Branson is he rarely walks away, he actually has businesses he likes, would use as a consumer and the one glaring difference is he actually uses Public relations to point out he does it for personal enjoyment, not to make gains financially the only goal, he also won't take a chance with the Virgin brand and has the luxury of being advised by experts.

The likes of Tan and PR don't posses the same personality, the ego has taken over the roost. The only goal is financial, the talk of commitment is pure fabrication and bull waste to keep the majority believing the end is not near.
