I was just wondering who everyone would like to see in a devils jersey this season... without going on about rumours etc.
obviously keep it realistic e.g. Don't say "Ohh I'd like Ovechkin" but just give some names, open for discussion.

Personally, I'd like to see:

Peter Metcalf here, providing Tyson retires.

McGregor looks awesome. Some of the youtube clips of him make him look quick and hungry. Plus, he seems to drop his gloves. Although I'm not sure we could attract him. His UK citizenship would be useful too - next GB star? :lol: Wonder if we could have him count as a Brit, if the nationality is from birth? Worth a go :lol: Works with Shields ;)

Makway Looks like a good option too. Fights, and posts some good points. 40+ points a season in the CHL.

This is just one agent - sort of shows the tough job G has. We can play fantasy hockey, G has to actually get the guys.

Yeah, he seems good with a + - of +18 :eek:
... I'm taking it that he's more of a stay at home defenseman as the points preduction isnt so great.

On the topic of McGregor... here's hoping G will read this and have a word ;)

You would hope he would have a better idea than us. If any of the players we mentioned were available, you'd hope G would already have scouted them out.

But, he may look at this for an idea of the direction the fans like/want to see the team move in.

If that is the case... skill with added grit please ;)

No true, but Mr Macintyre seems to be improving, 22 games in the NHL last year! So I guess that one is less likely this year than ever...would be interesting though.
