Interesting appointment of Doug Mackay for the Lightning
Quite a track record including NHL.I note that he also coached the Blackburn Blackhawks a couple of seasons before Steve Moria.
I dont remember him but i am sure there are some veterans on here who will

This is a statement of intent from MKL. The owners wanted to bring in someone who can develop their brand as well as coach the team. Mackay has worked in marketing and promotions in N/A ice hockey ice which will be essential experience for his role as GM for the Lightening. Infact, sounds like there is not much he can't do!
