Manchester Storm Signing

Storm have signed what looks to be a pretty good prospect inTyler Barrow. Although inexperienced in the pro game he has put up some good numbers and been picked a few times in his University All Star Team and collected a host of achievements along the way and has put some pretty decent numbers together in his first year or so as a pro. Could be one to watch for the future. I appreciate he is 24 already but it is exciting when we get new blood in the league that are staring off on their professional journey. Some show a lot of heart and dedication and you never know where it will take them.

I am by no means saying this lad will light up the league or even the Manchester team but it is always interesting seeing a player start out on their careers. Why they have released a keeper in his place is a little strange and appears to have caused a little bit of frustration among some of the supporters.

They have had a few injury problems so I suspect their thinking is that two import NMs is a luxury they can't afford. Brodeur has been superb each time I have seen him, Lavigne has conceded at least one howler so I can understand the decision. Agree that Barrow is interesting - let's see what he can do

Yes I agree that it makes sense. Hope it doesn't knock Lavignes confidence. He seemed to be quite a popular lad amongst supporters and the team. Brodeur certainly seems like a good catch and I can only see him improving over time.
