To start, only two officials there last night.
During the closing stages of the 2nd period Stone was in some close up play which the ref got caught up in. Ref blows up for a 2 min penalty on Stone (can't rememember what the penalty was for?) who was'nt happy with the call and while in deliberations with the ref he let a bit of language fly (+10). After the buzzer had sounded Stone confronted the ref again to tentively "question the decision" and let some more language fly and ended up with another +10.
Initially It was a poor call by the ref who when he was caught up in close play, which was happening throughout the game, was more intent on trying to push the players away than getting out of the way himself.
