Ice skating after games

Whats the story with this as I've seen people having a skate after games in the background of player interviews. Is this free and how much ice time is there usually?

Yeah it's free if you have your own skates and I think it's half hour. I believe you can hire the PI ones for about £2?

It's free if you have your own skates and a charge to hire the blue "death wellies" (used to be £1.50, not sure how much it is these days).

The session lasts until they send the Zamboni on to the ice - the length of time can vary depending on whether there's a rec team booked in for training after the game.
