By all accounts, Barrasso has fallen out with almost every player he has coached and every owner he has worked for. Not someone I would want as a coach

BIG DOOG was good at beating people up though as an ex Danbury guy.That has got to be a big positive for the drooling lovers of physical hockey.
How does that equate?

A physical player doesn't necessarily mean that its coached teams would be physical...

Not sure it's going to be Pete Russell anymore. He just guided his Ravensberg Towerstars team to win the playoffs and promotion to the DEL league.

They won the play offs but they don't get promoted. So as far as playing standards go it would be a similar move as EIHL and DEL2 are often compared as being similar quality. But he has surely put his name in the hat for any DEL or other European leagues looking for a coach though.

From a purely career stand point I'd agree, but it's always possible there's other factors at play. That said, there seems to be a variety of candidates available.
