The Cardiff Bay Lightning and Cardiff Eagles would like to invite you to attend a charity ice hockey match at Cardiff Arena on 5th May at 7pm.
The charity match is being played in aid of Marie Curie Cancer Care.
The match will be played in the memory of Marie Payne, mother of Lightning player Dereck Parsons, who tragically lost her battle with cancer in 2012.
In 2012, the Cardiff Bay Lightning and Cardiff Eagles raised £3000 for Clic Sargent, but this year we aim to beat that total.
The hockey community has always been very close and very supportive, so if you would like to donate to Marie Curie Cancer Care, you can either donate via our JustGiving page http://www.justgiving.com/cardiffbaylightning
or if you would like to donate via text message then please TEXT RRAW86 with the amount £1/£2 to 70070
There will be events running down the rink throughout the day, which are due to be confirmed
For more information and to donate, please visit either :-http://www.cardiffbaylightning.co.uk/
We really appreciate your support in aid of Marie Curie Cancer Care and we look forward to seeing you on the day.
Thanks
Richard
