Chants and stuff for Playoff Weekend

Just wondering if there were any chants, songs, etc we could do in Nottingham? Maybe some tips from Block 2? Though they're out, we could still do the Squeelers song to the Addams Family music.

There's a lot of scope if you use the 'Glory, Glory Alleluyah' tune! :lol:

1. When the Devils score a goal, you could sing to the other team:

'Where's your goalie when you need him
Where's your goalie when you need him
Where's your goalie when you need him
He's sprawling on the ice!'

2. Or for any opposition player sent to the sinbin:

'XX is a donkey (or plonker)
XX is a donkey
XX is a donkey
He's sitting in the bin!'

I'm sure the travelling Red Army will invent much better one's than that....but the tune is easy to sing! :lol:

Can we do the ayatollah again please?

One of the best Devils video's that I've got is the tape of the semi-final against Manchester Storm when we won 5-0 that was live on Sky (can't remember what year) and it shows the whole 2 Devils blocks doing it. Looks awesome.

Is the travelling Red Army going to get the newspapers out again at the Playoffs? This is a great snub......although probably would be more effective if playing against Panthers or (absent) Steelers! :lol:

The "We put five past Pieterangelo" chant was a classic from the Manchester destruction as well.

Typical one is

"If you all hate the steelers clap your hands"

Maybe someone will join in with me on men of harlech?

"Duh duh duh duh duh duh, cardiff devils(I know the panthers use it but who cares)"

" He plays on the left, he plays on the right, that boy xxxx makes xxxxxx look something? haha

XXXX is magic, he wears a magic hat and when he signed for the devils, he said I fancy that, he didn't sign for panthers, he didn't sign for blaze,........someone finish it off

Went to see Las Vegas Wranglers play in the ECHL a couple weeks ago and they had a chant which was quite good.

Everytime the opposition team came out of the penalty box the announcer would say 'And xxx return to full strength' to which the crowd would shout 'And they still suck!'

Something i think we should introduce down the blue tent next season

'Wir wollen hupfen' means - We want to hop. Its great fun. I don't recommend doing it in the big blue tent though as it might fall down.

I'd be up for any of the above, though usually a simple Mexican waive around the rink is like organising a tirp to the moon!

Pity it's a bit late to organise plain coloured card, place them on specific seats in Block 10 to spell GOAL, then ask the relevant people to hold them up when we score. Would need a little co-operation, but would look good.

Am happy to bring papers if you want to do that again, it was good. Does anyone have a photo of it?

Can i request no Anti Steelers chant this weekend?

They are out and thats over and done with and i just think it makes us look a little sad and obsessed when we do it when they arent around. Just my opinion though.
