Ragan aside, could it be possible that a drop to the EPL would be in the best interest of the club right now?

If we do end up dropping to the EPL, at least we might be in a position to ice a competitive team that are paid their wages in full. If we stay in the Elite League under the same situation, we'll either:

A - Struggle to compete, with a lower calibre of players compared to other teams due to budget constraints

B - Struggle to fulfill contracts (wages) like this season, because we recruit players we can't afford in order to remain competitive

Just a thought.

Personally I can't see it happening, and think a change in ownership is more likely to be on the agenda.
