Are any of the scottish clubs going to doing discounts for devils fans on the price of tickets for the triple header in Feb? and if so will this only apply to people who travel with CDRA?. Im flying up due to work commitments.

We can usually get discounts on tickets and will certainly be trying to get the best deal we can for both of the Scotland trips

Any discount we get will be exclusively for those that travel with us though

A few people are flying up and have booked hotel & transport to the rinks through us if that helps you at all

It would be the same price as we would reserve a seat for you on one of the coaches from Cardiff

The Scotland Triple is now full, although we are still waiting on quite a few deposits

If you've put your name down but not paid your deposit, you risk loosing your space. Sorry but it has to be first to pay is first to travel

A £50 non refundable deposit reserves your place

Please get in contact as soon as possible to let us know if you'd still like to come

There's still plenty of spaces for the Scotland Double, Coach to Bristol for Belfast and the Challenge Cup Final in Sheffield 8th March

Playoffs are filling up quickly too so get your names down for the Easter bank holiday weekend party in Nottingham

We have been warned about long delays going through the security checks at Bristol so have changed the pickup times

8:30 Bay, bus stop outside new rink
9:00 Llanishen, bus stop by 9 Giants
9:30 Coldra, Hilton Hotel

We should be at the airport around 10:30

There's still a few seats left on the bus if you'd like to take the hassle out of driving & parking and start the party early - just £20 return

To save you looking here's the most common questions we have been asked all copied & pasted from the Easyjet website

Make sure any battery powered devices - phone, tablet, camera, laptop, ummm ;) are fully charged
You will have to show them working at security

You need to provide photographic ID at check-in on all flights, including domestic services. If you check-in online you will still need to provide your photographic ID when you go through security and again when you board the plane.
Photographic ID means:-

International flights outside the EU - Valid passport only

International flights within the EU - Valid passport or national identity card *
Domestic flights (excluding UK) - Valid passport or national identity card *

Domestic flights UK - Valid passport or photographic I.D.

* not every country issues a national identity card

Please note: a driving licence does not represent a valid photographic ID, with the exception of UK domestic flights.

What items does ‘cabin bag’ cover’?
Last updated: 06/06/2013

Your one ‘cabin bag’ covers a bag, laptop case, brief case, handbag, bumbag, rucksack, carrier bag or wedding dress carrier. Motorcycle helmets are also allowed as/within cabin baggage (providing they follow the relevant size dimensions).

Please note that all these items will be classed as your one cabin bag.

Option 1: ONE piece of cabin baggage no bigger than 50 x 40 x 20cm including handles and wheels. Guaranteed to always travel with you in the cabin.

Option 2: ONE piece of cabin baggage within our maximum allowed size limitations, 56 x 45 x 25cm including handles and wheels. On some busy flights your bag may have to go into the hold, at no extra cost.

If you're taking a handbag or second bag make sure you leave room for it inside your case

Liquids in cabin baggage

The rules:
•The liquid is in a container with a maximum volume of 100ml
•All containers must comfortably fit into a transparent, re-sealable 1 litre plastic bag, measuring no more than 20 x 20cm
•Each passenger can carry a maximum of 1000ml (e.g. 10 x 100ml)
•This plastic bag must be removed from the cabin baggage and shown separately to airport security

Mobile check-in & boarding passes
Last updated: 13/06/2014

This exciting feature is now available at many of our airports..

Mobile boarding passes make travel easier by allowing you to keep all your travel information in one place. No more paper or searching for a printer.

All you have to do is check in and download your boarding pass on your mobile device. Your mobile boarding pass is now saved and ready to be scanned at the Bag Drop desks, security checkpoints and gate, and presented when boarding the aircraft. It’s that simple.

Mobile boarding passes are available on the free easyJet app for iOS devices (iPhone &iPodTouch) and Android phones. You can download your mobile boarding pass to your mobile device from the app by either logging into your easyJet account and checking in from ‘My Flights’, or by simply entering your booking reference and surname. Once you’ve checked in ‘Is checked in ✔’ will appear in green.

That's a touch mean spirited don't you think? Geraint sorted out tickets & buses in Belfast and it was one big happy Devils family wasn't it ? :(

In fairness Geraint always has and it's very kind if him but it's not a RAT trip everyone makes own arrangements

G and Jon have to sort collecting money , arranging coaches , booking and paying for coaches and hotels , sorting pick ups for over nighters as well as all the day trips we do and both work full time ...... I don't envy the work they take on and maybe sorting tickets for all is just a task too far??

Am sure if they could they would but their workload is immense

I don't envy them either to be honest but they are trying to sort discounts anyway. I would have thought that the more tickets they ask for, the bigger the discount. If they applied a "surcharge" to non R.A.T. fans to compensate for any extra admin I'm sure people would be happy to pay it as they would still be getting a ticket cheaper than normal. It was more an observation than a criticism in case anyone thinks I'm having a dig mind.

It's nothing to do with mean spirited it's simply a case of logistics. It's great Geraint does it with Belfast but Scotland especially the triple header is a whole different ball game. Firstly some of the teams in Scotland do not issue the tickets in advance in big numbers and in fact 1 club in particular will not give a discount no matter how hard I've tried over the years.

To even distribute the tickets to the 100odd people on the trips is s nightmare in itself as even though we stress to people to stay in the same place when we collect them people have inevitably wandered off especially in Edinburgh and I usually miss the start of the game finding the straglers and that's with a group we arrived together so to find another 50 or so people on top would be impossible.

The trip in itself takes ridiculous hours to sort and manage and tbh I never get to switch off to enjoy it as people think we are on call 24hrs a day. I'm happy to help anybody and everybody knows that but you can only do so much.

We get tickets at all other away games for fans not on our trips so they benefit from the discount as it can easily be managed and indeed are doing so Sunday.

Bottom line is we get nothing out of it other than trying to help people save a few quid. We've been told many times we are crazy to do it as it's probably the hardest bit to manage but will do our best to help. When people are in multiple hotels, pubs or arriving on different days it's just simply impossible.

Maybe mean spirited wasn't the phrase I needed, sorry. As I said, it was more an observation than a criticism. I certainly wouldn't fancy trying to arrange it all and I have plenty of time on my hands. Thanks for the explanation though.
Nighty Night xxxx
