Do you mean the whole program or just the interview? If it's the whole program, is there any reason? Whatever happens it's great news!

Glad you enjoyed it, it took me two weeks of arrangements and its now finally paying of. If we can now keep the momentum going the exposure will be a god send, rest assured no stone will remain unturned to keep the coverage going. This is just what the club needs, and deserves, we are on our way back to the top of British Hockey, and with this Management, and the best fans on the planet, its were we are all heading. Its a great time to be a Devils fan.
HAPPY HOCKEY DAYS.

Thats a cracking piece and a great bit of coverage. Everyone give it a view or 2, lets get it on the BBC most watched list.

Awesome coverage, great work wannabe for arranging it and getting it sorted out, thats exactly the type of coverage we need and hopefully will open some more peoples eyes to the world of the cardiff devils. With attendances on the rise and the chance of some silverware things are looking up this season

Nice one for sorting this out!

I really do think for us to get 1800+ crowds regularly we need exposure on BBC Wales Tonight every week. It was how people first found out about the Devils 20 years ago - I would always sit down to watch it on a Monday night to record the 1 minute 30 highlights and Bob Humphreys brilliant narration over it (RIP).

I believe there is a problem with sending the game video away to the BBC in time as we have to send it to the Sky Sports team instead. Though this helps with attracting sponsors - I do think that getting the Devils highlights onto BBC Wales Tonight every Monday evening will help remind our local public that we are still around.

Absolutely spot on Finny,we were very very lucky with my old friend Bob Humphreys, as he was a huge Devils fan himself and was well on our side, and a true gentleman. But now we have a female ally in Clare Summers, and this young lady is also on our side, and a huge plus for the Devils organisation. There is a lot of running around to be done making sure the Beeb have the tapes when they want them, and that Sky are also kept in the loop, and that also they have the timecodes so they dont have too much work to do, love them. But hey when you see the results like tonights coverage its worth every minute, and myself and our wonderful cameraman Howard will endevour to keep the ball rolling along, this club deserves the best, and we all have our little parts to play, and thats what will pay off in the end. Its a Welsh thing.

It's strange that BBC don't cover it each week. They cover all over sports and they give them some feature after weekend games. Would be great to see them finally take more notice and include this in their sports round up. Bob Humphries was great doing that. Shame he's no longer with us(RIP)

Good job Glyn. Great to see a feature on Vother. This is exactly the exposure the club needs – the Welsh evening news is primetime TV.

I was pleasantly surprised to see both Claire and Derek doing a live feed from the rink, presenting the sport and whether. Hopefully Glyn can persuade Claire to do some more regular features on the Devils throughout the season. I haven’t actually seen this footage as I was actually at the rink for the game but you could tell it was live as Derek was his usually animated self.

I think the most important part of the Voth interview was the fact that they got the outside of the rink onto the footage. Even now people don’t know we exist, despite the superb efforts of the Devils management in marketing this club. People are unaware what that Blue thing is when driving to and from Penarth. Hopefully this exposure will open some eyes and fingers crossed the rink will have its revamp very soon.

Well done to all those involved. Great stuff.

Not sure about great marketing, events like the halloween dress up thingy were really poorly marketed, if it wasnt for the inferno you would never know about these things, also i think they should try selling the club to the rest of wales not just aiming at a 'cardiff crowd'. I will probably get shouted down for saying this as the club is based in cardiff but i think people will travel to see this exciting sport that i am hooked on.

The Halloween fancy dress was a CDSL initiative not a club one.

I travel from west Wales to see the hockey each week and am always trying to encourage people to come with me. Problem is it's a 2 hour round trip and £20 at least in petrol. This makes it very expensive to support and makes it difficult for those outside of Cardiff to make it each week. Also, it's quite hard to join in with any socialising as you are inevitably driving and have an hour drive ahead of you.

I'm not saying people won't travel, as I obviously do and that would just be silly ;)

just saying it does make it more difficult and expensive to travel down to a match - perhaps if more people did become interested from other areas we could all join together to travel. I'd love the sport to be acknowledged in more than just cardiff - my friends would actually know what I'm talking about for a great deal of time.
