Meant to ask before, who does that young player who was playing for the Devils Select usually play for. I think it was Southwood #66. He seemed really good for his age - fast, good passer, getting in the right positions and not afraid to get stuck in against players twice his size. They seemed to be trying to set him up for a goal, but he didn't quite get the connection right on the shots which was a pity as he seemed to be trying as hard as anyone out there. Maybe one to watch out for in the future.

Interesting to see Mike Prpich getting some ice time last night as well!!
All in all not a bad hockey fix during the long off season (and wait for the first City game). Thanks to all the teams involved for putting on a show and i'll certainly pop down for the remaining weekends.

This is Luke Southwood, he will be playing 1st year u16s this year. Really good player and dedicated. His only trouble is his little stature. Gonna be a great Devils 3rd liner soon if he starts sprouting!

He's been playing for another team, not the Devils select but can't remember who...

There were games today as well, there's a link on page 1 to the list of games, but the times aren't always correct...

Interesting to see Adams taking a place on the Demons roster today, he certainly looks more toned up than last season and was no slouch on the ice either.

4 weeks till the start of the season and looking good :)
