SORAC has been contacted for help and advice by a group of people forming a committee to oppose their rink closure in Hemel Hemsted. They have only been given four weeks notice. Please could as many as possible sign their petition and help to publicise their plight in the same way that the ice communities did for us. Below is the communication we have received, Thank you in anticipation
'Thank you for your support.
It is all very recent news so we are in the process of forming a committee. The employees and coaches were informed on Friday 20th September when issued a letter. Last night parents, children and coaches gathered to discuss an action plan to save our rink - Hemel Hempstead (a planet ice facility).
A petition via change.org has been established:

Other campaigning is in motion but obviously as you have already managed to succeed it would be great to know what action you took that was most effective as we only have 4-6 weeks.
Is it possible to call this afternoon when one of the committee members is around so we ask you all the right questions.
