As a Braehead fan very happy with Jade returning. Shows you. Money ain't everything as he has shown his loyalty and commitment to the club.
Looking forward to seeing the rest of the roster taking shape.
A fantastic signing for the Clan. A player who probably coveted interest from several clubs has chosen to stay at last season's club....for what appear to be the right reasons.
In his coaching role alongside Krestanovich, he can help progress the squad.....the Clan have a great chance of doing well this season.

Very glad Galbraith did not move to one of the 3 'Arena' teams - in order to promote competitiveness, it's great to see talented players like Jade, Tendler, Jarolin spread throughout the league. The arena teams can't always get what they want. ;)

Braehead Clan re-sign Ryan Campbell for a third season. Solid signing for them, Campbell looks like one of those players who is consistent night in night out without standing out.
I remember he scored twice and picked up man of the match in a game in the BBT two seasons ago and I can't remember seeing him on the ice. Good start to the core of the team for the Clan, I think they need Wedderburn next.

Campbell is a total unsung here of the team, and plays through pain barrier with injuries. Also good forward on the penalty kill and picks up quality goals. He totally stepped up leading the third line with Haywood and Walker.
As for Wedderburn don't know if he will be returning as family issues back home, but so hope he comes back a totally great defender with his positioning and stick handling.

Good signing. Pity we could't have signed Shawn Limpright - he's just signed to play in France- as Graham seemed to have a soft spot for him i.e his nose!! Good numbers from Limpright too, what shame.

Yeh, saw him play too and he was magic, my sort of player. stood up to the plate whenever necessary and really got under the skin of the opposition ( in the Vez mould ) but could certainly handle himself. Would be great if we could sign a team mate of his at the time I saw him, Dave Rutherford ( centre, still only 25 and a proven goal scorer) maybe next season eh?

Coventry Blaze sign Greg Leeb from the Ice Tigers in the DEL.

Press Release: http://www.coventryblaze.co.uk/news_latest.php?id=2618

Stats: http://www.eliteprospects.com/player.php?player=13640

I'm not too sure what the DEL is like, any ideas?
Really looking forward to uour games with the Blaze this year. They have some exciting players on paper and it will be interesting to see how they gel.
Me too! The only thing I'm slightly worried about is our lack of points players. However, we still have 3 signings to go and if they all gel together, it shoild be a problem anyway.

Not confirmed but sounds likely, Dustin Wood could be heading to kazakhstan according to Thommo's talks. It's a Shame as he's a good player, but I actually think we would be better off filling that last D spot with an offensive D man instead.
