I can understand that off they've set up a whole package to present things, they'd want to use it, but right now I think they should call it a day and try again tomorrow.

Why? It's a communication companies outage, not Devils Org. mess, so how have they created this "shambles"?
I'm in Calgary now and can confirm not the Devils Org. fault.

I don’t think we've ever had a video lasting an hour from the summit have we?!

If there is a huge outage, then reschedule or reformat. Saying it’ll be on in 45 min is a bit precise, unless Steve is mates with the MD. Having said that this isn’t Hollywood, it’s always been a bit cringe and thrown together, pretty sure their main motivation is the Stampede with a thrown together 15 min vid.

You can livestream on a mobile. I’ve been doing meetings over Zoom weekly for a couple yrs now with no issues whatsoever. They only have to register on Facebook Live.

If they're out of town they may have patchy mobile. I'm sure they're doing everything they can.

Steve's post said they had filmed a few pieces yesterday so those need uploading.
It's not like they're doing all this on purpose.

For those of us who were refreshing twitter/ YouTube constantly they twice managed to get a Youtube link up. However, as soon as you clicked the link it failed to connect and the video was deleted.

it sounds like there is an internet connection, but it’s a lot slower than it should be. And so broadcasting a live video was impossible.
I'm guessing they have filmed it instead and are now uploading it (very slowly) to YouTube.

Maybe uploading videos just before going live isn’t the best plan, maybe next time do it several hours before or send it to say Katrina to upload……..
