Anyone offended or upset by this - grow up.
Just as bad as the Belfast fans claiming Carruths mentally scarred their children by celebrating.
I’m not offended or upset thank you, but I think it’s extremely disrespectful from an official of one EIHL club towards another. I’d expect it from fans but not from a club representative. It’s out of order.

Am I personally offended by this video? Of course not but this is not about me it’s about respect!

This is childish in the extreme and showing a total lack of respect. Unfortunately this is not an isolated display of such a lack of respect for a rival clubs emblem. Who can forget Walser’s disgraceful stamping on the Club emblem DURING the anthem before a game at the IAW!

Disrespect, petulance, antagonism and confrontation all seem to in the DNA of Belfast.
Overall impression is horrible club, horrible fans!
His lack of respect towards our anthem was appalling that day, when he went on his little skate.

I didn’t mean to imply that you were offended in any way by my quoting your post.
Apologies if that was the inference.

Just sour grapes from them if you want to really look into it. Took the two points from the game which is a great result for us. It seems some people (Giants or Devils fans) want to get offended/annoyed by something as opposed to actually enjoying the event. I can see why some people take it as a sign of disrespect but ultimately, is it really worth getting annoyed or upset over?

We took 2 points and they’ve started adding salt onto everything, that’s a pretty good return on a weekends work. One of our resident Inferno monkies though is breaking the irony record on here, hilarious, lucky I’m on the ignore list, no come back.
We've laid down a mark, great work ethic and plenty of positives, the only reason we didn’t get more is because we’ve still got issues, that means we’ve work to do and space to improve, we lost those points, Belfast didn’t take them, that’s why their salty..........

I thoroughly enjoyed the event. And I’m not offended or annoyed as I said. Perhaps I’m a little bit old fashioned and prefer to see some respect from club representatives to other clubs. I get it that fans might do this, and that’s to be expected I suppose - but club representatives should not. And I’m pleased it’s been taken down.

Lots of talk about the Carruth celebration, but did anyone see Kozun after the final shot? From a few long distance grainy videos I've seen, looked like he came off the bench and was giving it some to the Belfast players at centre ice before escorted off by the officials. Someone got more info on that?

Every fanbase has got a few bone heads. Giants have their fair share. The majority I spoke to over the weekend were great. Some banter exchanged, naturally.

I'd say Twitter can bring out the worst in people sometimes. Especially if they're worked up or steaming. I have been guilty of this once or twice :')

Kozun was absolutely brilliant Friday but I am glad Big Mac made his point Saturday. Hats off to the whole team, great passion shown by all. Hilarious antics by a minority of bellslow fans, don't let them drag us down, we took points off them in their barn haha fking ha ! He who laughs last an all that. Whoever owned the cardiff shirt got it back undamaged so the joke wasn't worth the cost of the shirt, tightwads !

Just rewatched fidays game and about to rewatch saturday game. No issues like I had watching live stream, odd really. I hope bellslow and Rusty nuts take points off each other later on while we sit back laughing like hyenas (hyeeenas?).

IIRC the ref gave him a 2 minute unsportsmanlike penalty timed at 00.00 and I think we may have scored on it!
Agree about the battering tho!
He was given a penalty, not to sure if we scored on it, remember it happened a few times especially in the WNIR players mistakenly left the line thinking the anthem was over and given a penalty, but not Walser he knew what he was doing .

Apparently Kozun was over the top celebrations and why not, and was sent packing by the officials..

We have seen a pattern of disrespectful behaviour of Giants players, fans etc against the Devils. Is it a surprise they chuck our Jersey in the bin? They are hurting because our Guys snatched the win from them last night, and, in their view, over-celebrated the result. And, of course the Giants have never done that before!

It's tit-for-tat. As Keefe once said (or maybe it was Walser?) we don't like them very much, and they don't like us.

It keeps competitiveness alive!
