We have seen many a hockey 101 or Q&A, and heard of the infamous nights with Dave Simms but we at UK All Stars wanted to freshen things up and bring something different to the table.

Therefore we proudly invite you to The Future Inn, Cardiff Bay on July 13th at 7pm for the first Hockeynight Panel evening. We have assembled a great panel of guests who will be debating any question you have about our great sport.

Our on stage guests will be:

Max Boom Boom Birbraer - Current Cardiff Devil import with a hockey story like no other! Max is a great character and speaker who has a great insight to the current world of the elite league and some strong views on how it could be improved.

Brent Pope - Current Head of Development for the Cardiff Devils and Olympic commentator. Brent is a well-known speaker on the game and very passionate about the sport and its future.

Mike Hicks - Current Elite League Referee. Mike is a well-known official, brought up through the ranks in Cardiff and was the League’s officials speaker at their road shows last year. Also officiates abroad and for the IIHF so has great insight to our officiating structure here and in the top nations in Europe.

Andy Corcoran – ‘Corky’ is a long-term sponsor and supporter of the club and experienced off-ice official. Passionate about the sport and never afraid to air his views, he could be the dynamite in the mix!!

And finally, were are delighted to announce Marc Twaite !

Marc is an ex Nottingham Panther and Cardiff Devil and GB International who has experienced all the highs and lows that the game can offer. His story is inspiring and we are delighted he has agreed to take part. He holds strong views about the set-up of the leagues and also where the GB programme is headed. Marc is a new voice that speaks from experience, and from the heart. You can find out more about Marc here http://www.marc-twaite.co.uk/the-descent-from-steelers-stardom-to-contemplating-suicide/

This will be a great chance to hear some lively debating and then raise some money for the great causes we are supporting this year. Our MC for the night is the Devils match night announcer Paul Sullivan, and fans will have plenty of chances to ask questions of the Panel.

After the event we will be holding a charity auction where you can get hold of some great items.

It will be a great way to kick off this year’s weekend.

We are delighted that Nutshell will be sponsoring and producing the event

The Costs to attend are -

Adults : £5 donation on door
Kids : Free
Players participating in the weekend: Free
