Hello Everyone,

I am sitting here in my apartment on Thursday evening anxiously waiting for tomorrow and our departure to Nottingham! I'm not sure exactly what I am supposed to be writing seeing as basically every guy on the team has written a blog in the past two days there isn’t much left to be said.

With that being said I will keep this brief and not go into too much hockey talk.

I will give a little insight of what the next couple days will be like as a player. Tomorrow (Friday) we will have our last skate as a team, hard to believe! After we will have about 4 hours until our 2PM bus.

The bus ride up to Nottingham is always fun, everyone is in good spirits and excited for what’s ahead. When we get into Nottingham we head right to the rink and set up our dressing room, it’s always interesting to see where they stick us! After that we will hop back on the bus and head for the hotel where we will have a meal together. The rest of the night is just relaxing at the hotel and trying to get some sleep which is always hard the night before a big game.

Saturday is not a typical game day for us with a 1:00 puck drop; everyone will have a different approach to what they will do. Me personally I will try and sleep until 8:30 or 9:00, and then get up and eat. Myself and most of the guys typically eat around 6 hours before the game so this is a little bit closer to the game so I will try and have a bit of a lighter meal. The bus will head for the rink around 10:30-10:45.

After a big win I’m not quite sure what will happen, likely go grab something to eat and then come back to watch a bit of the second game before heading back to the hotel and resting up for the big dance Sunday!

Hope this has provided a little insight into our Nottingham experience. I know there are massive amounts of Devils supporters heading up and I can’t wait to hear you all Saturday, have a great weekend!

Stu
