Inferno blog - Phil Hill

Phil Hills arms bend down ?

Not sure who's enjoyed these blogs the most the guys writing them or the fans reading them. It's been quite funny reading the way in which the guys have been chirping each other and I think it just proves what a great group we've had this year and how close the guys have become. Although this season has had it's ups and downs, the room has stuck together and along with g and franny have never lost focus on ending the season with a trophy.

I remember when I first got injured one of the first guys to text was Mac Faulkner, and it was just a quote that read 'life is 10% of what happens to you, and 90% how you react' , he used the story of how when he first arrived in the UK he realised that McDonald's didn't do free refills on cokes, but instead of sulking and getting downhearted, he found a solution to the problem by packing a 2litre bottle in his school bag when he visited this establishment on his cheat days. I think the quote works better for the team though, despite the injuries and problems we've faced, the guys have come together and kept improving each week, and are now peaking at just the right time.

The fans deserve a huge amount of credit for the way they have continued to back the team, and have appreciated the continued effort of the guys. The atmosphere was unbelievable last week, and all the guys now want to finish the season on a high for all of those that have shown continued support throughout the year.

Lastly I'd like to thank all the off ice staff and volunteers who have again been a huge help to the team, and make this great club what it is.

See you all in Nottingham,

Hilly.
