Hey there!
At Christmas I wasn’t expecting to be sitting here in April writing a blog about going to the Playoffs in Nottingham as a Devils player.

I’ve really enjoyed this year and starting to make the step up to the Devils. It’s been an eye opening experience, one that I hope to build on for years to come! Every guy is willing to help each other and it’s that attitude that is going to be vital for us this weekend.

The game last Sunday was awesome, apart from the result, for me having grown up playing throughout juniors with Ben and CJ it was great seeing CJ scoring 2 big goals! There was such a buzz in the room after the game, which has now been replaced with a thirst to keep achieving this weekend.

The last week of training has been a good with everyone clicking well. Next week it is going to be weird not getting up every morning for practice and then rushing off to Pentwyn Leisure Centre, where I work, to run their “Road to Rio” camp during the holiday. (I would like to take this opportunity to thank both Pentwyn Leisure Centre and Cardiff Council for supporting me throughout this season).

I’m really excited about this weekend, the boys have told me about the atmosphere and spectacle. I haven’t been to a Devils playoff weekend since I was 7 years old, it’s still something I remember now, and I cant wait to go there as a player.
