Giants Home Double Header

4th Dec 2014 | Posted by Skippy

In Pictures our record against the Giants

This weekend sees the Giants in town for an all too rare home double header for the Devils. With the Giants in 4th place in the league and the Devils in 5th place these games really are vital for both teams.

In a break from our usual game previews this one is fairly brief as I’m pushed for time this week.

Last weekend saw the Giants in action twice starting on Saturday November 29th where they booked another match up with the Devils in the Challenge cup with a 3 -2 overtime win over the Fife Flyers.

While Sunday again saw them win another, this time over the Steelers 4 – 3 in a Penalty shootout.

The Giants fans seem to think that they have this weekend in the bag with only 3%, and I’m guessing that’s a few of us ?,of those polled predicting a “double” for the Devils while 65% think the Giants will walk away with the four points.

How do YOU think this weekend's 'Double Header' in Cardiff will end up?

  • Two GIANT Wins (65%, 75 Votes)
  • Split Series - One win each (29%, 33 Votes)
  • TOO close to call.. (3%, 4 Votes)
  • Two Losses For Belfast (3%, 3 Votes)

Total Voters: 115

Both camps are being fairly tight lipped on Injuries in the run up to the weekend so we can only assume that both sides will be at something approaching full strength? Or you know, not?  Both Andrew Lord and Trevor Hendrikx were missing for the Devils last weekend  but might be back this weekend, or not ?

We will be running the 'ridiculously childish and disgustingly biased' Match Night Live service for this game,as always expect name calling, slurs and bad jokes about keepers not being able to stop beach balls in epic proportions, at the usual location of http://www.the-inferno.co.uk/mnl

If you'd like to chip in with a comment or make a score prediction on the night you can contact us at matchnightlive@gmail.com.
