The scorer of the winning penalty shot in that game Cory Pecker has now been released by the Steelers. After only one goal in 8 games, coach Ryan Finnerty had this to say "It's unfortunate when a guy has to leave" "we had high hopes for Cory but unfortunately things haven't worked out as we all had of wished."
"We are immediately looking for a replacement but will only move for the right guy. Lee Esders has done more than enough to earn his spot in the top 9, his attitude and work ethic has put many others to shame. I'm confident that he will continue in this role"
"We wish Cory well and than him for his time here, the club though can't stand still. This is a winning organisation, I hope this move will be the only one I have to make this season. The players here know me and know I won't and can't accept performances like the one we saw on Sunday"
Players to watch : Jeff Legue, Tylor Michel, Shawn Limpwright
With the recent form and performances by the Devils, Adams had this to say prior to this weeks games "I am fully aware what is expected, Paul and I have been in discussions for a few weeks about areas that obviously need improving. That said, we are only in week four, and this league is extremely competitive. There are no weak teams in this league, and the fans can rest assured that with Paul's support and my leadership, we are already considering our options which may include player changes."
The Devils will be looking to get back to winning ways and need the support from every fan who will be at the rink this Saturday.
Players to watch : Mac Faulkner, Tyson Marsh, Chris Blight
